House of the Muses series

Post  houseofmuses on Sat Sep 19, 2009 9:49 pm

I'm new here. Some of you already know who I am, most don't. I'm just here to give a quick intro, and I'm not going to bog you down with a lot of information. I'm Pam Harrison, the 2008 Prism Comics Queer Press Grant award winner for outstanding new LGBT series, House of the Muses.

My Prism Comics profile is located here, where you can get to know me better and check out samples of my work. http://prismcomics.org/profile.php?id=1710

My series is hosted now at my website, where you can read, comment, even buy if you like! I don't mind feedback at all, so drop back here and let me know what you think.

Personatly I can say that 3D art isnt really my thing but still it looks nice Smile

Oh and coming in here and identifying yourself by throwing a long fancy award title in our faces is badass, and a bit rude if you ask me Razz
But I am really just jealous I cant do the same Razz

Re: Rude Intro

Post  houseofmuses on Sun Sep 20, 2009 5:57 am

Hahahaha! My intro was rude? My goodness. I'd hate to see the response if I'd posted my full credentials. Anyway, no offense taken, no matter what you might think; I can tell your answer is tongue-in-cheek.

Wink lol!

Pam Harrison A poem you might like

Post  tommym on Sun Sep 20, 2009 11:02 am

Dear House of the muses plus Sappho,
The poem is "Elizabeth -- Erin" Elizabeth is a woman whom I fell deeply in love with. She helped me as no one else. She encouraged me to explore further my deep feelings about Identifing Female. She gave me the courage to attend the Gender Project at the Center on 13 street in N.Y.City.and was with me before and after each Wedsday. During this time I started reading "Venus Envy" and did not look back. We discussed HOM among other comic books. When She told me she was leaving I cracked up badly and started "I pray Goddess Sappho..." for her and Erin who helped ease me down. Thanks for helping so many people my self included Yours with Sappho Tammy

Hey Tammy. I'm very glad I encouraged you to come out and be yourself at my comic site. Isn't it much more liberating to just be yourself and not have to worry what others might think???

Hugs,
Pam

I did read your poem yesterday, and I like. Thank you very much. Smile

Greven, I can be a master of sarcasm myself, and I took your post to be such, which is why I wasn't offended. Wink

Post  houseofmuses on Sun Sep 20, 2009 10:20 pm

Awww, hey! Why wait til December? The books are all in one place. You can bookmark your spot online and go back to your page later!

Give it a try. I'm like Pringles. Worst complaint I ever get is folks start one book and they can't stop. That can't be ALL bad. Wink

Muses' books?

Post  pattyjeres on Sun Sep 20, 2009 10:44 pm

Might he be able to purchase them at the Prism web store yet? www.prismcomics.org

And I'm out of here 'cause I have plans tomorrow -- or so I hope to. I'd like to try being awake at the proper time for a change.

Books

Post  houseofmuses on Sun Sep 20, 2009 10:56 pm

House of the Muses #1 and #2 are available at Prism...I need to get copies of #3 and #4 over to David Paul, but been busy...one of our local schoolbus driver friends (she's straight, believe it or not) called me this morning to ask if I had any more books, she only had the first two! Quick and easy sale. Smile
I'm heading off to bed shortly, too. Night, all!
