I can't tellyou about bad memories but I can tell you that that crab doesn't get out very often. So he's a bit grumpy.

Rei I love a good story and if there is one thing I know it is that all things have their time to come, I dont WANT to hear about the memories till Eradicus is ready to tell them. There is a reason the pain is dragged out, sometimes you just have to wait for the perfect moment

Me three! You hardly hear about Asexuals in the media, or in stories.

I haven't been ignoring you guys, I've just have a rough couple of weeks.

When I made Eredicus, he was originally supposed to be a somewhat prissy and feminine, but totally non-transvestite male. Kind of that... Prince-like, putting on airs but is actually a bit dense kind of character.

And then, as I was developing the idea, I drew him in a playboy bunny outfit and the whole character got revamped, including his hair color (which used to be dark blue).

So I ended up with this very... bleeding heart, nice to everyone, hated by many but totally incapable of hating them back girly boy. And eventually the subject of romance did come up. And I just... couldn't picture him with either gender. He just wasn't interested. Eredicus values strong friendships and his little PIL family, but he just didn't seem wired to be in a relationship.

Meh that's wht fanfiction is for.

Though I prefer romance fanfics over sex fanfics.

I have done that now of course so I feel all manly and I can tell you that if you value your life then stop making those cute frames! What frame? well this one.

Rei, I'm still reading your archives and I have to say, I love that you're challenging norms and assumptions about gender and identity. I still want to refer to Eredicus as a she, so i can see that i myself am constantly judging and making assumptions on gender and identity. These are all things we do everyday automatically without thinking. Am I correct when I ask that was part of your intent in writing the comic to get people to look inward?
Also I like this idea of the Paranormal Investigation League (kinda like the Scooby Squad from Buffy). It's just a really great idea.
